CACHE: Who are they?
August 28, 2018
We’re aware that the general route of education is not for everyone.
GCSEs > A Levels > Degree…
For some, it is often more inviting to step outside of the box and explore educational opportunities. These can lead to the career of their dreams or varying avenues that they may not have considered. And one of our most popular examples of this is health and child care.
Many people who choose to become a teaching assistant or health care worker don’t always go to university. Instead they opt for distance learning methods, to be able to study and work simultaneously.
As the home of distance learning, we want you to be able to study with ease. This is why we work in association with the UK’s best awarding bodies to provide you with the best courses.
CACHE (The Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education)
They are the UK’s only awarding organisation that specialises in the care of children, young people and adults.
What: CACHE provide courses and qualifications that are developed to a high-standard to ensure students are provided with the most up-to-date and relevant qualifications to further their careers.
The courses vary from Awards and Certificates to Level 4 qualifications.
Why: Many people choose to study CACHE if they want to work in the health or child care industries as CACHE continue to work closely with the Sector Skills Councils to create qualifications and courses of all levels to suit the needs and requirements of individual learners.
How: Open Study College work in partnership with CACHE to provide high-level qualifications through distance learning. We provide the course materials and tutor support needed for you to complete your qualification and start your career in care, health and education.
