  • Develops knowledge and skills of roles and responsibilities required at this mid-level of management.
  • Requires a minimum of 370 hours study across a range of topics.

  • Must be completed within 12 months from enrolment date although, with our distance learning delivery model, you can fast track this by completing units more quickly to suit your own timetable.

Choose from a range of subjects listed below, including managing a team, responding to conflict, managing individuals, customer service, presentations and more.

All course materials will be provided to you and you’ll have access to an online learning portal, as well as an experienced and friendly tutor who will offer guidance, support and advice. Your tutor will liaise with you in advance of starting the course to ascertain the best units for you to study, based on your job role and organisation. Some unit combinations are not allowed, due to content duplication. Your tutor will be able to advise further.

CMI is a specialist awarding organisation that offers a wide range of qualifications in Management and Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring and Professional Consulting. They are regulated by four regulators: Ofqual I England, CCEA in Northern Ireland, Qualifications Wales in Wales, and the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) in Scotland.

Upon completion of enrolment with Open Study College, you will be registered with BBE training and required to go through a secondary application process; this is just a formality and involves completing and signing a course application form. Once completed you will be required to arrange an induction interview with your allocated course tutor who will help you to choose the study units that best suit your requirements.

You will be assessed on each unit studied, based on criteria set out by your tutor. All assessments will be submitted via your tutor.
