5 ways to manage your studying time

December 9, 2015 / Sharnie Carter

Do you struggle with managing your studying time? Are you someone that uses the old “I’ll start it tomorrow” phrase and then never does? Now is the time to change all that and by taking note of these 5 tips you can keep organised with your studies.

Create a weekly timetable

By making a weekly timetable, you will then be able to work out and see your available time. You can then dedicate times and days you can study, whilst fitting it in with all your other commitments.

Make a to-do list

List all of the work you need to do and tick them off once you have completed them.  You will then have an idea how close you are to finishing your studies.

Urgent tasks

Prioritise your work, by working out which tasks are more urgent than others. This in particular is a great method for those that are studying more than one course with us.

Target setting

Make decisions on how long to spend on each task and when it should be completed by. By sticking to deadlines you will then have an estimated date you will complete your studies.

Splitting down work

Organise pieces of work such as: assignments and essays, into smaller and less daunting tasks. This will then make it easier for you to stay focused during your studying time.
