You will need to take the standard A-Level examinations in order to fully complete this course. The examinations run on specific dates which can be obtained by visiting the AQA website. You will be required to pay for and book these examinations yourself; however, we can provide a list of A-Level test centres around the country to help you with this.
You will have 2 years to complete the full A-Level. This is a lot more time than you need, so that you can study at your own pace.
The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students receive the course manual and a study guide, plus tutor support by email. Your A-level course materials will be sent out in the post upon enrolment.
Upon successful completion of this home learning course you will receive an A-Level in Mathematics (AS and A2) issued by AQA. Both AS and A2 level courses and examinations must be successfully completed to gain a full A level. The subject code for this A-Level is 6360.
You will need to have a GCSE Grade B (or its equivalent) in Mathematics, as some of the concepts in the A-Level Mathematics course will follow on from some of the knowledge gained at GCSE level.
We recommend the following textbooks for this A-Level; however, they are not essential for completion of the course:
These textbooks can be purchased online or are widely available in most good quality bookshops.
You may wish to purchase the recommended textbooks included in the reading list above; however, purchase of these is not essential for completion of the course. You will, however, need to obtain a good quality graphical calculator; and you will generally be required to pay a fee to take your examinations at the exam centre that you choose.
You are still able to study this A-Level course but must take the examinations within the UK, as this is the only guaranteed way to access examining centres.

I've recently started reading over the course and I like the fact that there are loads of examples, exercises and activities. I have emailed my tutor quite a few times and have recieved replies in good time so that's not a problem.
However you could improve by giving page numbers- I find it quite hard to sometimes find my pages so I had to write in my own numbers. Also, although you do give examples, sometimes towards the end of the examples, some of the stages are left out so I find it quite difficult to try and work out how one stage leads to the last stage- it would be much easier for me if all the stages of an example were written in and not skipped.
Apart from that, I’ve got no other problems with it and generally think it’s a great and well written course.
