A-Level Mathematics is an excellent foundation for both further study and employment. It remains a particularly impressive qualification that demonstrates core intelligence, a logical mind and excellent problem-solving skills.
Generally, mathematics students earn around 10% more money than students who have not completed A-Level Mathematics.
This course will deepen your understanding of quadratics, geometry, trigonometry, algebra, equations, vectors and more!
Develop your knowledge of mathematical principles in order to analyse problems logically and effectively.

You will need to take the standard A-Level examinations in order to fully complete this course. The examinations run on specific dates which can be obtained by visiting the AQA website. You will be required to pay for and book these examinations yourself; however, we can provide a list of A-Level test centres around the country to help you with this.
Course Duration
You will have 2 years to complete the full A-Level. This is a lot more time than you need, so that you can study at your own pace.
Study Method
The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students receive the course manual and a study guide, plus tutor support by email. Your A-level course materials will be sent out in the post upon enrolment.
Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this home learning course you will receive an A-Level in Mathematics (AS and A2) issued by AQA. Both AS and A2 level courses and examinations must be successfully completed to gain a full A level. The subject code for this A-Level is 6360.

What if I live outside the UK?
You are still able to study this A-Level course but must take the examinations within the UK, as this is the only guaranteed way to access examining centres.
I've recently started reading over the course and I like the fact that there are loads of examples, exercises and activities. I have emailed my tutor quite a few times and have recieved replies in good time so that's not a problem.
However you could improve by giving page numbers- I find it quite hard to sometimes find my pages so I had to write in my own numbers. Also, although you do give examples, sometimes towards the end of the examples, some of the stages are left out so I find it quite difficult to try and work out how one stage leads to the last stage- it would be much easier for me if all the stages of an example were written in and not skipped.
Apart from that, I’ve got no other problems with it and generally think it’s a great and well written course.
Course Rating
"well explained and easy to understand"
- Rachel Hibbert, Manchester
The material given is well explained and easy to understand, and the practise questions give me a good feel for the A-level. I would prefer if the assignments were more regular so I would know from a teachers perspective how I was getting along.
Course Rating
"easy to understand"
- Helen Dugard, Lewes
I find the course material easy to understand and the tutor support so far has been very good. My only plea would be for more examples to practice from. I've bought a separate book which just contains problems to work through which I am finding very useful for revising each subject.
I am enjoying the course and am looking forward to completing the first module of study soon.
