To achieve the full A Level you must take the exams. You will be assessed across the 3 written exams. A more detailed breakdown of the assessment details is provided below:

Course Duration

You will have 2 years to complete the full A Level from the date you receive your materials. You will be able to study at your own pace and in your own time without the pressure of tight deadlines.

This course enables you to study for A Level Further Maths through distance learning at home or at work. Your course materials will be sent by post or via email, you choose! Full tutor support will be available via email, so help is only a click away! 

Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this home learning course and external exams you will receive an A Level in Further Maths issued by AQA. All examinations must be successfully completed to gain a full A Level. The first opportunity to take these exams are in 2019.

What skills are needed to enrol onto this course?

To enrol onto this course, it is recommended that you have a minimum of a B grade in GCSE Mathematics.

Do I have to sit an exam?

You will need to take the standard A Level examinations in order to fully complete this course. These dates can be obtained by visiting the AQA website. You will be required to book these examinations yourself and we can provide a list of over 400 A Level test centres around the country.

Are there any additional costs?

You will be required to pay for your exams and fees to take your exams at the examining centre that you choose. You may want to purchase textbooks to supplement your course, but this is entirely optional.

What if I live outside the UK?

You are still able to study this A Level course but must take the examinations within the UK.

What happens if I lose my course pack?

We offer a course replacement service which ensures that, if your course pack is lost or damaged throughout the duration of your studies, we can issue you with a new set of materials for a one-time additional fee. This is available by calling our Student Support team on 03300 563100.
