CeMAP®, which stands for ‘Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice’ is the industry standard qualification held by Mortgage Advisers in the UK. It is the benchmark qualification in the financial services industry.

This package contains 2 of 3 modules you will need to complete in order to achieve the Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®).

Up to 1 year.

Course Outcome

On successful completion of your exams you will receive your Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®).

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.

Assessment

A mixture of practice exam questions and quizzes in order to prepare you for your exam.

Each of these units has a 30 minute objectively tested examination comprising of 25 multiple choice questions.

Unit 3 - Mortgage law, policy practice and markets
Unit 4 - Mortgage Applications
Unit 5 - Mortgage payment methods and products
Unit 6 - Mortgage arrears and post completion

Assessment

To achieve CeMAP® Module 2 – Mortgages (MORT) and CeMAP® Module 3 – Assessment of Mortgage Advice (ASSM) you will need to sit an exam at the end of each module.

The module 2 exam consists of 4 units which are made up of 25 multiple-choice questions each. In order to pass the exam, you will need to achieve at least 70% in each unit. The module 3 exam consists of 6 case studies with 10 linked multiple-choice questions, you will need to achieve at least 70% to pass this unit.

You can choose to take your exam and pick from test centres nationwide or through remote invigilation.

*Only course fees are paid to OSC, you will be instructed on how to register for and book an examination upon enrolment.

You will have access to a selection of revision webinars to help you prepare for your assessments. These are available for each module. You can also take additional revision webinars if you wish at an additional cost.

Course duration

You will have 12 months to complete your course. This is more than enough time than you need and allows you to study at your own pace.

Study method

The course is designed for study by online distance learning at home or at work. Students receive online course materials as well as technical support.

Your learning portal will feature introduction videos, revision advice, and study guides to help you progress with your learning.

Course outcomes

On successful completion of your exams you will receive the Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®) and be qualified to work as a Mortgage Adviser.
