Course overview

Put your gaming experience and imagination into action, developing an original game that you can fully play and show to family and friends.

The fundamentals covered in Video Game Design are a great first step into the world of coding. Students are introduced to object-oriented programming, and a behaviour-based logic system focussed on applying behaviours and attributions, testing, debugging and fine-tuning products all of which comprises a core component of computer science and is familiar to any programmer. This is a rich course and one of our most popular, and many kids take it more than once to develop their skills even further.

Students will also gain access to an online classroom where they will be able to post questions for tutors to respond to. In addition to this, they will also be invited to a monthly live Q&A session with a tutor, optional but encouraged, to help learners get the most out of their course.

This course is ideal for keeping kids entertained during the school holidays and giving them the opportunity to learn something new, without having to worry about juggling with homework.
