We are delighted to announce that our CEO, Samantha Rutter-Bryant, has been included on Management Today’s prestigious 35 Women Under 35 list.
All of us here at Open Study College are incredibly proud that Samantha has been recognised in this list amongst some amazing women.
The 35 Women Under 35 list showcases the remarkable stories of women who are making waves in the business industry.
Samantha joins an exclusive group of people to feature on the countries longest-running list of young, female business talent, with the likes of Stella McCartney, Martha Lane Fox, and Karen Blackett all featuring in the past.
Being one of the 35 women is a proud moment for Samantha, saying: “After joining Open Study College at just 19 years old, this feels like a milestone accolade for me personally. I am so proud to be named as one of Management Today’s 35 Women under 35. It is an honour to be part of such a prestigious list and to be recognised among so many incredible women who have excelled in their industries. Awards like this remind me, and other young women in business, that we can do anything we set our minds to!”
Since starting the business at just 19 years of age after spotting a gap in the market, Samantha has continued to grow the company all whilst making sure female voices are heard.
In fact, 60% of our current workforce is female, whilst 50% of our senior management team is made up of females, as well are more than 70% of our learners.
It’s not just Samantha’s work in the business that has received plaudits, though, with her charity work not going unnoticed.
Open Study College has partnered with the Help Harry Help Others charity since January 2018 whilst last December, she helped collect hundreds of items of food and gifts to donate to local food banks and the elderly who would be spending Christmas alone.
