First established in 2007, Open Study College are now into their 10th year of delivering first-class distance learning courses. Open Study College have continued to grow, innovate and deliver high quality customer service and tutor support. Over the last 10 years we have transformed into an award-winning distance learning provider, receiving incredible recognition of our achievements:
Open Study College were recently shortlisted for Small Business of the Year at the Birmingham Awards 2017! It is fantastic to receive recognition of our achievements as we mark our 10th anniversary. Birmingham Awards celebrates the achievements of thriving local businesses and entrepreneurs.
EducationInvestor Awards 2017
Open Study College were also recently nominated for Skills Provider of the Year at the EducationInvestor Awards 2017! The awards promote excellence and recognise innovation in the education industry. So, naturally, Open Study College are very proud to have been nominated for such a prestigious award!

Further Education College of the Year
The Education Awards was a new awards ceremony for 2017, celebrating the best education providers in the midlands region. Open Study College were thrilled to discover that we had been nominated for Further Education College of the Year… so imagine our absolute joy and immense pride to be awarded Further Education College of the Year in July 2017!

TES FE Shortlisted
Every year the TES FE Awards recognise the most outstanding teams and individuals in the further education industry. As a distance learning college, it’s a huge achievement to be shortlisted for Training Provider of the Year 2017. For us to be recognised as an exceptional distance learning provider is something the college is incredibly proud of.
ICB Luca Awards
Our ICB Bookkeeping courses and tutor support are highly praised among our students. Each year the ICB Luca awards recognises high quality providers and tutor excellence. Over the years, we have been nominated for Large Provider of the Year twice, and Small Provider of the Year once. Our tutors have also received recognition, and have been nominated for Tutor of the Year four consecutive times, and won it once!
But our achievements at ICB Luca awards also extend to our students, with Julia Hill shortlisted for Student of the Year. She received the awards thanks to her dedication and enthusiasm to achieve within the bookkeeping industry.
Corporate Livewire Awards
Open Study College are constantly looking for ways to improve our students’ learning experience. We strive to make it easier for learners to study around their commitments and on the go. Understandably, it’s a great privilege for them to name us Global Leader and Excellence in Distance Learning 2017!
Our COO, Samantha Rutter, also picked up Best Distance Learning Leader at the Businesswomen Awards 2016, recognising her talents and hard work in the industry. Samantha also collected Open Study College’s Award for Excellence in Tutor Support, which reinforces the high-quality support our students receive.
