    • Assessing rabbit and hares injuries and when they can be released
    • Capture and handling techniques for a variety of small mammals
    • Common first aid treatments for small mammals
  • Unit 4: Care and management of larger mammals
    • Natural history of foxes and deer’s
    • How the history of foxes and deer’s are important when assessing for injuries and release
    • Capture and handling techniques for a variety of mammals

    Unit 5: Care and management of marine mammals

    This course is assessed through a series of written assignments, which are submitted to your course tutor to be marked. There is no external examination required.
