This NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care course is ideal for students currently working in health and social care who would like to develop their knowledge or progress their career further.
During your studies, you’ll develop your knowledge of various key areas involved in working in health and social care. You’ll learn more about the signs that may indicate someone requires safeguarding, and the precautions that can be taken to reduce the spread of infection in a setting. You will also explore the psychological theories relating to health and social care, as well as the legislation, policies and procedures, codes of practice, and professional standards that need to be adhered to when working in health and social care.
After completing this qualification, you can either progress to further studies, or apply for a wide range of jobs in the health and social care sector such as healthcare assistants, care support workers, and community-based support workers.
On successful completion of this course, you will receive an NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care. You will also receive UCAS points relative to the grade you achieve.
You must be aged 16 or over to enrol on this course, and you must have a relevant work placement. Due to the work placement, you need to be based in the United Kingdom.
You will be assessed through a series of written assessments and workplace-based evidence. You will also need to complete an external assessment.
