Course overview

If you're ready to take your Spanish to the next level, the GCSE Higher Spanish course (AQA) is a great choice. It’s designed to help you develop your language skills and expand your cultural knowledge, with a stronger focus on using more advanced grammar than the foundation course.

You'll explore the language through three interesting themes: people and lifestyle, popular culture, and communication. So there's plenty of variety to keep things fresh.

Throughout the course, you'll get support from a specialist tutor, and you’ll have the option of up to nine one-to-one sessions to help you feel confident and ready for your speaking assessment.

Please note: this higher tier course can lead to a GCSE grade between 4 and 9, while the foundation course only covers grades 1 to 5.
