GCSE Foundation French is a great starting point if you're new to the language.

The AQA French Foundation specification is designed to develop both your language skills and your understanding of culture. You will study three main themes, applying grammar appropriate to the foundation tier.

The three themes are:

People and lifestyle
Popular culture and communication
The world around us
