You will be required to complete three assignments and a micro-teaching and feedback session. For this you will conduct a teaching session with your tutor observing. You will have to deliver your micro-tech session by one of the following:

  • Via Skype at a time that is convenient for you and your tutor
  • Or record your own session and send it to your tutor

For this you must ensure you deliver to a minimum of 2 learners for a minimum of 20 minutes.

Course Duration

You will have 12 weeks to complete this course. This means studying around your other commitments is easy and stress-free.

Study Method

You will be studying through an online portal which will include interactive modules with associated assignments. You will have access to online personal tutor support to help you throughout the course. They will be available via email. You will also be required to deliver your micro-tech session to your tutor by Skype.

This Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) course is awarded by TQUK, which has been has been accredited by the regulators of England, Wales and Northern Ireland (Ofqual, Welsh Government and CCEA).

What are the requirements for this course?

You must be 19 years or older to enrol onto this course. It is also advised that students have competent Mathematics and Literacy skills, however this is not essential. 

Is there a time limit for the completion of this course?

You may start at any time and have 12 weeks to complete your studies. This course is truly flexible and adaptable around your lifestyle.

What are the computer requirements for this course?

For this course you will need to use Skype (a form of video conferencing) for your micro-teaching assessment. You must have a sufficient broadband, suitable IT and a good quality web camera. A laptop with a built in camera is ideal. You will have to download Skype onto your computer and set up an account. 

Do I need to be working in teaching role to enrol onto this course?

You do not need to be in a teaching role to study this course
