This course is assessed by a series of assignments, which are submitted to your tutor for marking. No external examination is required.

Course Duration

This course will take you 12 months to complete, which is more than enough time to complete approximately 70 hours of learning time. How do I get my work assessed?

You will send your work to your personal course tutor for them to mark and return to you. On successful completion of the course you will be awarded your CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Prevention and Control of Infection.

What are the entry requirements to enrol onto this course?

You will need to be at least 14 years of age to enrol onto this course.

Do I need to be working in a care role to study this course?

No. As this is a knowledge-based qualification, it can be studied by those who are not yet working in a care role.
