Course Outcome

You will receive an AAT Access Award in Bookkeeping Level 1 and an AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping Level 2.

You must be 16 years old in order to enrol onto this course, as well as have basic mathematical skills and IT literacy.

Assessment

Tutor-marked assignments and three computer-based assessments.

Assessment

During this course, you will complete a number of tutor-marked assignments in preparation for your exams.

To achieve the AAT Access Award in Bookkeeping Level 1, you will need to sit one computer-based assessment. This is sat under controlled conditions at an external exam centre.

To achieve the AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping Level 2, you will need to sit two computer-based assessments. These are sat under controlled conditions at an external exam centre.

Booking your exams

Exams can be included in the cost of this course. If you choose to add your assessments and book through us, they will take place at a centre in either Birmingham or Irthlingborough, near Northampton. When choosing to add your assessments to your booking, it is important to note that we are only able to book your assessments at the specified centres in either Birmingham or Irthlingborough, therefore, you must be prepared to travel to the centre to complete your assessment.

Alternatively, if you don’t add your assessments to your course, you will have to book and pay for these separately.

Course Duration

You will have up to 18 months to complete your courses from the date of enrolment. All together this bundle should take you approximately 150 hours to complete. This is enough time for you to work at your own pace.

Study Method

Once you enrol, you will receive all course materials by post and receive full tutor support for 18 months by email. Once registered with AAT you will also have access to online resources and additional support materials, including sample assessments.

Course Outcomes

You will receive an AAT Access Award in Bookkeeping Level 1 and an AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping Level 2.
