Unit 3: Injuries of the Foot and Leg
  • Describe the basic anatomy and physiology of the leg and foot
  • Discuss muscular injuries to the leg and foot

  • Explain the effect of injuries to the soft tissue such as the ligaments and tendons
Unit 4: Injuries of the Hand and Arms
  • Identify the main anatomical structures of the arm and hand

  • Explain treatment and management of sports injuries to the arm and hand

Assessment

This course is assessed through a series of written assignments, which are submitted to your tutor for marking. No external examination is required.

Course Duration

You may start at any time and have a full year to complete your studies. We suggest that the course will take approximately 80 hours to complete. This is more than enough time to give you flexibility and work at your own pace without the pressure of deadlines.
