Study method

You will be studying through an online portal that will include interactive modules with associated assignments. You will have access to online personal tutor support who will help you throughout your course. Your tutor support will be available via email.

Assessment

During this course, you will be required to complete two IQA reports based on observations of two qualified assessors who each have two learners they are carrying out assessments on – four IQA reports will be required in total.

Your assessments and reports will be observed by a self-appointed mentor from your workplace who holds a minimum of the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Processes and Practice qualification.

You are also required to provide evidence of attending a standardisation meeting with other IQA’s or leading a standardisation meeting with assessors.

Course duration

Once you have enrolled on your course you will have up to six months to complete your studies. This will allow you to work at your own pace, without the pressure of tight deadlines.

Course outcome

Once you have successfully completed your course, you will receive a Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice by Training Qualifications UK (TQUK).
