Course overview

The GCSE Higher French AQA specification has been designed to develop both your language skills and cultural knowledge, applying grammar at a more advanced level than the foundation course.

You will explore the language through three main themes including people and lifestyle, popular culture and communication.

Your course will include support from a course specialist tutor, with the option of nine one-to-one sessions to prepare for your speaking assessment.

Please note: For the higher tier course, you can achieve a GCSE grade between 4-9, compared to the foundation course, which covers grades 1-5.
