A Level Religious Studies

A Level Religious Studies can be a useful addition to your A Level choices, particularly if you’re considering university or careers where critical thinking, communication and understanding different viewpoints are important. On this course, you’ll explore Christianity and key debates around religious beliefs, teachings and practices. You’ll consider arguments about the existence of God, different views on life and death, and ethical issues such as the treatment of human and animal life.

You’ll also develop your ability to analyse different viewpoints, assess arguments and form clear, well-supported conclusions – skills that can complement subjects such as philosophy, history, and sociology.

Once you’ve completed your studies and passed your exams, you’ll gain a nationally recognised AQA A Level Religious Studies qualification, worth up to 56 UCAS points.
