What is a HLTA qualification?

A HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) qualification is a nationally-recognised Level 4 qualification that allows teaching assistants to progress into a higher role.
It advances on current teaching experience and knowledge to help you reach a higher level of ability. Things such as:

• Addressing situations in the workplace
• Communicating with colleagues, children and young people
• Improving your knowledge and understanding of supporting children and young people
• Helping children to reach their maximum potential

Once you have completed this course, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement by TQUK (Training Qualifications). The qualification title is TQUK Level 4 Certificate for Higher Level Teaching Assistants.
