This course aims to provide you with knowledge of the early years foundation stage (EYFS), a statutory framework which has been in place since September 2012, affecting all childcare settings in the UK.
Using the EYFS as its focus, this course will provide you with the knowledge that is necessary to provide high-quality childcare in accordance with the latest government regulations.

This course is assessed by a series of short assignments, which are marked by your tutor. No external examination is required.
This course will take approximately 100 hours to complete. You can start at any time and have a full year to complete your studies, which means you can study at your own pace.
This course will enable you to work when and where you want. You can study from home or at work; it is completely up to you. All your materials will be posted or emailed to you online, whichever you choose. You will also receive tutor support by email, so help is only a click away!
At the end of this course, successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement by Training Qualifications UK (TQUK).
The completion of this course alone does not lead to an Ofqual regulated qualification but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills towards regulated qualifications in the future. The unit summary can be used as evidence towards your Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in this sector.
