What is an iGCSE?
So, what's an iGCSE, anyway? Think of it as an international version of a GCSE. Both are qualifications you achieve in key subjects like English and maths, but the iGCSE is designed for students all over the world, not just the UK.
iGCSEs are perfect if you’re aiming for university abroad or need to meet international entry requirements. They’re also ideal if you're learning outside the UK or looking for a syllabus with a global perspective. They give you the skills and knowledge you need to move on to A Levels and other international qualifications.
On the other hand, GCSEs are best if you're in the UK system and following the national curriculum.
