This NCFE CACHE Level 2 and 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is ideal for those looking to pursue a career as a teaching assistant. On successful completion of your courses, you will become a qualified teaching assistant.
During the courses, you will gain the knowledge and skills you need to support pupils in primary, secondary, or SEN schools with their learning. During your level 2 studies, you’ll learn more about significant stages of development between birth and 19 years of age; the actions you can take to safeguard children and young people; how to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with children and young people; and how you can support children and young people in their learning activities. Your level 3 studies will allow you to explore topics such as how you can support and promote positive behaviour in children and young people, as well as how to the support you can provide to students in their maths, English and ICT subjects.
