Course Outcome

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring.

Entry Requirements

You must be at least 19 years of age. We require you to have at least a level 3 qualification and a good understanding of the written requirements at level 7. Ideally, you will need to be working within an organisation or role where you can demonstrate skills and apply the knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with.

Assessment

Tutor-marked assignments.

To achieve a Level 7 Award in Coaching and Mentoring, you must complete any combination of units with a minimum of 370 TUT (total unit time) hours to achieve this qualification. You can choose from the following units. You must achieve a minimum of 300 TQT hours from Group A only, and 70 TQT hours from either Group A or Group B. Before starting the course, you will have a discussion with your tutor to select the unit(s) you wish to study.

Course duration

Once enrolled, you have 18 months to complete your studies.

Study method

You will study this course through distance learning, which will enable you to learn when and where you want. You can study from home or at work, it is completely up to you. All your materials will be online, with your login details being emailed to you. You will also receive our tutor support.

Assessment

This qualification is assessed internally through tutor-marked assignments.

CMI is a specialist Awarding Organisation that offers a wide range of qualifications in Management and Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring and Professional Consulting. They are regulated by four regulators: Ofqual I England, CCEA in Northern Ireland, Qualifications Wales in Wales, and the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) in Scotland.
