This Health and Social Care and Dementia Care Level 3 course is perfect for anyone currently working in health and social care who want to learn more about dementia, or those considering a career in the industry, with a view to specialise in caring for those with dementia.
During the health and social care section of this course, you’ll explore the training opportunities available in the industry, safeguarding individuals in your care, how to manage diseases, and the key principles of care. Whereas, the dementia care part of this course will teach you about the signs, forms, and causes of dementia, as well as how to communicate effectively with someone with dementia, how to manage their daily care and behaviours, and how to provide palliative care for dementia patients.
You will have up to two years to complete this course.
On successful completion of each part of this course, you will receive two certificates of achievement in Health and Social Care Level 3 and Dementia Care Level 3.
