Unit 2 K/504/3556 - Designing and adapting exercise programmes for the older adult
This course measures your understanding of the key concepts and material through portfolio work and worksheets carried out as you continually progress throughout the course. You will have a worksheet assignment at the end of unit 1 and a case study assignment at the end of unit 2.
This course will take approximately 36 hours to complete. Students will receive a full year to complete the course, which is a lot more time than you will need. This allows you to work at your own pace, without the pressure of tight deadlines.
You will study this course by distance learning, which will enable you to learn when and where you want. You can study from home or at work; it is completely up to you. At the end of this course successful learners will receive an ActiveIQ Level 3 Award in Designing Exercise Programmes for Older Adults (qualification accreditation number (QCF) 601/1148/3). This means that you will achieve a level 3 qualification on The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. In addition, you will earn 20 CPD point for REPs membership.
