Your Qualification

When you successfully complete this course you'll become a full member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a recognised Chartered Accountant.

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is currently the largest recognised body for professional accountants in the world and works proactively to connect its members with employers.

Your Study

You'll have three full years to complete your study for your ACCA certification, though there are options to extend that period if you require.
Thanks to our flexible distance learning approach, you'll be able to manage your study around your schedule, setting targets and deadlines that are right for you.

You can choose to receive your materials securely by post, or access them easily online. And in both cases you'll receive full, unlimited e-mail support from an experienced tutor who is there to help guide you through the qualification.

Throughout your study you'll also have access to our Student Support Team for any additional guidance you might require.

What You'll Learn

During your study ACCA certification, you'll cover a wide range of learning objectives that will arm you with a thorough understanding of the area.
You must complete 13 modules in all. There are 11 compulsory modules you must complete. In addition you must complete two further modules from a choice of three. This particular course inlcudes the additional modules P4 and P7 as detailed below:

How You'll Be Assessed

To complete this qualifcation successfully, you'll be required to complete an exam at the end of each module.
Deadlines for exams are set by ACCA according to their timetables. (You can contact us directly to find out more about these.)

In addition to the exams, to complete the course you'll also be required to complete 36 months of relevant work experience during your study.

Your work experience will need to be supervised and signed off by a practical experience supervisor and it's important to remember you are also responsible for booking the exams, at a time when you feel confident and comfortable that you can successfully pass.

Q. What if I've already got a recognised accounting qualification - do I need to complete all the modules?

If you have a degree in accountancy or a recognised qualification of some kind, you might be exempt from having to complete some of the modules.

Not for this course. But you'll need to do some of your own research using the internet.

Q. Do I have to sit an exam?

Yes, you'll need to take a standard ACCA exam at the end of each module.

Q. Are there any additional costs?

The only thing that isn't covered in this course is the fees you'll need to pay to complete your exams.
