How to stay motivated whilst studying

February 18, 2016 / Sharnie Carter

Are you one of those people that just can’t get motivated when learning? You would rather spend your time on social media all day or have a movie marathon with your duvet? Then take note of these 3 tips on how to stay motivated whilst studying:

Study in a quiet place with little distractions

Study somewhere quiet such as in a library or a room in your house. Make sure there are few interruptions when you study, as you will go off track. Avoid places where you are likely to run into your friends. Stay concentrated and determined to learn everything you can.

Get new study supplies

Make sure before you start studying that you have all of your study materials. You should stock up on pens, high-lighters and post-it notes. You don’t want to interrupt your studies by having to get more.

Keep hydrated and eat

By keeping a small amount of snacks and water by your side, will keep you thirst-free and energised. Avoid having fast food and pastries as your snack and keep to peanuts, fruit bars and fruit. These are better for you and will help keep your brain active.
Get on your way to achieving your well-earned qualification now, you can do it!
