Open Study College has donated over £10,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support this year following the success of its charitable fundraising.
Matching the massive sum raised from last year’s efforts, the money donated will go towards helping the millions of nurses and campaigners who work tireless to help those affected by cancer.
The money raised is thanks to the College’s charity enrolment scheme. For every course sold, £1.00 is donated to Macmillan. With the amount of people now choosing home learning as an alternative to traditional methods of education, means the amount being raised has flourished.
Samantha Rutter, the College Director commented: “It’s fantastic that we’ve kept up our fundraising momentum. I’m sure we all know someone who has been affected by cancer in one way or another and it’s great to know that we’ve raised another huge amount for such a worthy and deserving cause.”
The Open Study College staff were more than happy to don the crazy wigs, wave those foam fingers and wear the green tops with pride as they celebrated the College’s success!
