Course overview

Once you have completed this course you will be qualified to work as a Mortgage Adviser and will be able to provide mortgage advice either on a self-employed basis or on behalf of a lender, such as a high-street bank or building society.

Once qualified and working within the industry, you will typically be expected to meet sales targets, deal with valuers, estate agents and mortgage lenders, and keep up to date with mortgage products and any changes to financial law.

This unique interactive CeMAP® online course is designed for people who are new to the mortgage industry and covers the whole CeMAP® Syllabus in an easy-to-understand manner.

Assessment

To achieve the CeMAP® Level 3 Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP®) you will need to sit an exam at the end of each module

The module 1 exam consists of 2 units which are made up of 50 multiple-choice questions each. In order to pass the exam, you will need to achieve at least 70% in each unit. The module 2 exam consists of 4 units which are made up of 25 multiple-choice questions each. In order to pass the exam, you will need to achieve at least 70% in each unit. The module 3 exam consists of 6 case studies with 10 linked multiple-choice questions, you will need to achieve at least 70% to pass this unit.

You can choose to take your exam and pick from test centres nationwide or through remote invigilation.

*Only course fees are paid to OSC, you will be instructed on how to register for and book an examination upon enrolment.

You will have access to a selection of revision webinars to help you prepare for your assessments. These are available for each module. You can also take additional revision webinars if you wish at an additional cost.

Course duration

You will have 12 months to complete your course. This is more than enough time than you need and allows you to study at your own pace.

Study method

The course is designed for study by online distance learning at home or at work. Students receive online course materials as well as technical support.

Your learning portal will feature introduction videos, revision advice, and study guides to help you progress with your learning.
