"It has often been said that 'those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it'.

A-Level history is quite an intense course because of the subjects covered, and the structure of the analytical writing style you are required to develop when studying. But while it can be a steep learning curve, it is one which gives you a writing discipline that can be used later on in other forms of research.

Some topics are more interesting than others, in particular I was fascinated by the USA & Vietnam which also covered issues like Watergate.

The tutor support I received was very good, and I would constantly exchange emails which would help me improve the structure of my assignments. I didn't have any problems finding an A-Level exam centre.

If you want to improve your analytical powers and gain a deeper understanding of important historical events and periods then A-Level History is fantastic course to study, who wouldn't want to study such a varied, interesting topic?"
