Josie Gibson, the winner of Channel 4's Big Brother in 2010, has enrolled on Open Study College's Nutrition Consultant course. The course is a level 3 award in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework, teaching students the principles of nutrition in relation to modern-day Western society. Open Study College raises money for cancer patients

Students and staff at Open Study College have helped raised thousands of pounds for Macmillan Cancer Support this year as part of an ongoing campaign to help those diagnosed with the illness. A donation has been made for every new student enrolment in 2011 and the College has already surpassed its agreed £5,000 donation target, which is set to be doubled by the end of the year.
