There are lots of different paths to go down, such as; working in a salon, working from home, or even starting up your own mobile business! This nail course starts at the very beginning so is suitable for people with no prior knowledge. Once completed, students can also go on to study the level 3 course.

Course Duration
This home learning course will take approximately 60-80 hours and we provide students with a full 12 months to complete the course.
Assessment
The Nail Technician course assessment takes the form of a series of written assignments, which are submitted and marked by your tutor. There is no external examination required.
Study Method
The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students receive a course manual, assignments and study guide plus tutor support by mail or email. You can start at any time a full 12 months is provided to complete the course.
Qualifications
At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Level 2 NCFE Award certificate of achievement. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
NCFE is recognised as an awarding body by the qualification regulators ('regulators') for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The regulators are the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator (Ofqual) in England, the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) in Wales and the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in Northern Ireland.
