This is the NCFE Level 2 Medical and Clinical Administration course. This home learning course is designed for people who wish to start work in the field, or improve on their skills they have already gained. There are many places in which you may choose to work once you have qualified, including; hospitals, research establishments, and general doctors surgeries.
The objectives of this course are to develop a broad understanding of the principles of administration and reception skills, learn techniques and good practice, develop skills required in all areas of administration, develop specialist knowledge of terminology and legislation, and to prepare for AMSPAR (The Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Managers, Administrators and Receptionists).

Assessment
The home learning Medical and Clinical Administration course assessment takes the form of a series of written assignments, which are submitted and marked by your tutor. There is no external examination required.
Study Method
The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students receive a course manual, assignments and study guide plus tutor support by mail or email. You can start at any time and plan your studies over a period of up to one year from the time of registration. This takes around 60 hours of study to complete.
Qualifications
