Course Content

Module 1: Introduction to the Principles of Environmental Awareness
Module 2: Managing Energy Usage
Module 3: Managing Waste Disposal
Module 4: Managing Water Use
Module 5: Managing the Use of transport
Module 6: Reducing the Risk of Pollution

Assessment

You will be assessed through a series of written assignments, which are submitted to and marked by your tutor. There is no external examination required. The final assignment takes the form of a multiple choice paper.

Course Duration

You may start at any time and have a full year to complete your studies. We suggest that the course will take approximately 60 hours to complete.

Study Method

The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students will receive all course material by post or online, plus tutor support by telephone and email.

Qualification

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a level 2 NCFE Award certificate of achievement. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (in which case GCSE's are at levels 1 and 2 and A Levels are at level 3).
