Assessment

The MCITP Database Administrator course requires students to pass 3 examinations taken at a local test centre to you. It is the students responsibility to book and pay for exams, these are around £85.00, however it is advised that you do check this with your chosen test centre. These exams can be sat at Prometric test centres.

Study Method

The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students receive a course manual, assignments and study guide plus tutor support by mail or email. You can start at any time and plan your studies over a period of up to one year from the time of registration.

Qualifications

A successful completion of your examinations and assessments you will receive the MCITP Database Administrator certificate; a leading industry recognised awarding body.

Q: What skills are needed to enrol onto this course?

Students will ideally have at least 12 months of experience of database work, although this is not essential. Students should also have knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

You will spend around 120 hours studying on this course in your own time at home. Students are provided with a full 12 months to complete the course.
