Award Level 3, Similar to - NVQ Level 3, A-Level

Child Day Care covers many aspects such as Nannying, Creche/Nursery work, or even working from your own home. No work day will be the same as the last, as working with children brings new and exciting things each day, and is also very rewarding.

Once the course has been completed, you will have an understanding of the physical, emotional and psychological needs of children, and will also give you the skills needed to be successfull in your career in Childcare.

No previous experience in Child Care is necessary.

Assessment

The Child Day Care course assessment takes the form of a series of written assignments, which are submitted and marked by your tutor. There is no external examination required.

Study Method

The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students receive a course manual, assignments and study guide plus tutor support by mail or email. You can start at any time and there is no time limit for completion of the course

Qualifications

Qualification 1: Child Day Care Diploma

Child Day Care Diploma entitling you to use the letters SAC Dip after your name.

Qualification 2: Level 3 Child Day Care Award

This Course leads to an NCFE Level 3 Award Certificate for successful learners. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
