Course Duration

This home learning course will take approximately 180 hours and we provide students with a full 12 months to complete the course.

Assessment

The BTEC Electrical Installation and Design course assessment takes the form of a series of written assignments, which are submitted and marked by your tutor. There is no external examination required.

Study Method

The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students receive a course manual, assignments and study guide plus tutor support by mail or email. You can start at any time a full 12 months is provided to complete the course.

Qualifications

Once the course has been successfully completed, students will receive the BTEC Advanced Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation and Design. BTEC qualifications are nationally recognised by employers, and Edexcel is a leading UK awarding body.

Q: What skills are needed to enrol onto this course?

You do not need any previous knowledge to enrol onto this course. We do ask that students are over the age of 16, and are education up to a GCSE or equivalent level of education.

Q: Is there a time limit for completion of this course?

We provide students with a full 12 months to complete the course,  this is a lot more time than you need so that you can study at your own pace and in your own time without the pressure of tight deadlines, this course is truly flexible and aimed at being adaptable around your lifestyle. Students do need to pay a registration fee to Edexcel no later than 28 days from the date of enrolling.

Everything you need to study is included in the price. However, students will need to pay a registration fee to Edexcel, which will need to be paid no later than 28 days from enrolling on the course. The cost for this is currently £80.00.

Q: How do I get my work assessed?

Once we receive your work we will mark it and contact you with your result. On successful completion of the course you will be awarded your certificate proving your success in Electrical Installation & Design.
