Criminal Psychology studies the thoughts and intentions of criminals. This course covers many topics such as the psychology of terrorists, drug abuse, youth crime and the criminal justice system.
This Criminal Psychology course has been designed for students to study with or without prior experience in the field. Students may want to take this course as a follow on from the Criminology level 3 course.

Assessment
The home learning Criminal Psychology course assessment takes the form of a series of written assignments, which are submitted and marked by your tutor.
At the end of each section are a number of activities, 50% of which are designed to get you to organise the information you have acquired into a format that you feel comfortable with. You are also required to write 1 x 500 word essays after completing each section. There are some tips included in the course to help with essay writing.
Study Method
The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students receive a course manual, assignments and study guide plus tutor support by mail or email. You can start at any time and plan your studies over a period of up to one year from the time of registration.
