This A-Level Accounting home study course is a fascinating insight in to modern business and commerce techniques. Accounting is a contemporary and “real world” subject. Study Method
The course is designed for study by distance learning at home or at work. Students receive a course manuals and study guide plus tutor support by telephone, mail or email. Your A-level course materials will be sent out in the post and once you enrol on this A-Level course, you will receive a welcome telephone call from your course tutor who will spend some time talking you through the course.
Qualifications
Upon successful completion of this home learning course you will receive an A-Level in Accounting (AS/A2) issued by AQA. Both AS and A2 level courses and examinations must be successfully completed to gain a full A level. We have chosen this syllabus as it is the best suited to distance learning.
Q: What skills are needed to enrol onto this course?
You will need to have a reasonable grade GCSE or "O" Level in Accounting as the concepts in the A-Level Accounting course follow on and use some of the knowledge you will have gained.

Q: Do I have to sit an exam?
Yes, you will need to take the standard A-Level examinations in order to fully complete this course. The examinations run on specific dates which can be obtained by visiting the AQA website. Students are required to book examinations.
Q: Are there any additional costs?
You will need to purchase the books listed above, would also recommend that you obtain a good quality scientific calculator and you will generally be required to pay a small fee to take your examinations at the examining centre that you choose.
Q: What if I live outside the UK?
You are still able to study this A-Level course. You will however be required to take the examinations within the UK as this is the only gauranteed way to access examining centres.
